Join us for two hours of cold weather sketching on Sunday, Dec 8th from 1-3pm at The Lynnfield Woodlot!

Sketchbooks in hand, we will explore some of the beautiful views and wild spaces of the Lynnfield Woodlot. This 21 acre property is adjacent to the 600 acre Willis Woods and has lots to offer visitors - even in winter. We are excited to show you around!

Don’t be worried about sketching in cold weather. It’s amazing as long as you wear warm gloves!

Slow River Staff will offer a free 30 Minute Sketching Lesson for new sketchers, followed by the opportunity to sketch for an hour. We will gather again for the last half hour to chat, ask questions and share our work. This is a friendly, low stress event that really is welcoming to sketchers of all ages and experience levels! One important note: young children must be closely monitored.

This Sketch Event Is FREE, BUT PLEASE REGISTER so we know how many people to expect. Bring a sketchbook and a pen if you have them. We will have supplies on hand for folks who need them.

We will meet in the main parking lot at 1452 Main Street, Lynnfield (Opens in Google Maps). In case of rain, this event will be cancelled or postponed. If you are uncertain about the weather, check this page before coming out.
