You've searched everywhere and found the same thing - 'youth' programs that lump 6-year-olds with 16-year-olds, teaching them watercolors and crafts. We're thrilled to launch something completely new this fall that changes everything – dedicated classes for older teens (aged 15-18) at Slow River Studio!
Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon starting in November, high school students will dive into professional oil painting, drawing, colored pencils and other art techniques you simply can't find elsewhere. We're the first and only studio designed specifically for teen artists ready to learn alongside experienced mentors. Where else can teens explore the mediums professional artists actually use?
Caroline and Tony bring an incredible 42 years of combined experience working specifically with teenagers, and they've designed these classes to be supportive, enriching, and genuinely exciting. Whether you're building a portfolio for college applications, developing your artistic voice, or looking to connect with fellow creatives from across Essex County, this program offers the perfect blend of professional instruction and peer community.
